“The Football Medicine and Performance Association (FMPA) fully supports the decision taken by the Premier League and the English Football League League to suspend all matches until April 3^rd.  The FMPA considers the action taken is in the best interest of players, staff, the wider football community and the general public.

The FMPA also supports the decision taken by the Scottish FA Board to suspend all domestic professional and grassroots football under the jurisdiction of the Scottish FA until further notice.

FMPA Chief Executive, Eamonn Salmon said “The FMPA will continue to support medicine and performance practitioners in professional football throughout this difficult period”.
