After much discussion, consultation and consideration the FMPA has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Conference and Awards event on 22/23^rd May at the Radisson Blu Hotel, due to the COVID- 19 virus now taking hold in the UK.

In hosting a Conference event that brings together staff from around 80% of professional football clubs and from all corners of the UK, we believe we must act responsibly and in the interests of our members, their families the wider football community and the public in making this decision.

The outstanding programme and line up of speakers has sparked huge interest in our Conference this year and this leads me to believe that this event can be ring fenced and brought to fruition in 2021, with current aspects still firmly in place.

I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all those inconvenienced by this decision but trust you will understand that, in these unprecedented circumstances, the decision has been made in good faith and in the best interests of all concerned.
