I’ve worked in professional, elite and international sport as a doctor since 2009. I’ve worked across rugby union, rugby league and cricket, with both male and female teams/athletes.

I’ve a strong research background with my PhD. I’ve supervised and continue to supervise successful PhD students, mainly associated with Concussion and Computational modelling of fractures/biomechanics. I have more than 40 peer reviewed publications.

I’ve been involved in setting national sporting guidelines with concussion.

I am also a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon with specialist interest in skin cancer/trauma. I am my national specialist research lead.
