Nominees announced for Medical & Science Award at the Northwest Football Awards 2017
Judging will take place today for the Northwest Football Awards 2017 with FMA CEO Eamonn Salmon on the judging panel. The Northwest Football Awards, now in its 10th year, was launched to celebrate the region’s brightest and best in the game. The 2017 awards will take place in November and will pay tribute to and recognise those who have achieved footballing excellence both on and off the field.
The Fabrice Muamba Outstanding Service to Medicine & Science in Football Award is an award that recognises individuals within the medical and science departments.
This years nominations are:
Ally Beattie, Burnley FC
Grant Downie, Manchester City Academy FC
Dr Ian Irving, Everton FC
