Building on the great success of previous Arsenal FC SEMS conferences, Dr Gary O’Driscoll, Arsenal FC Medical Director, and Mr Colin Lewin, Head of Medical Services, are delighted to confirm the 2017 high level, interdisciplinary, FSEM accredited Conference will take place at Emirates Stadium. Again, this year, the speakers have international reputations that will ensure high quality, current, and interactive presentations.
Open to all medical and scientific healthcare professionals working across sports, presentations are aimed at SEM Faculty Fellows, senior doctors, physiotherapists and professional healthcare staff working with elite sportspersons. The conference presentations this year will focus on various aspects of screening in elite sport with presentations on cardiac, concussion, hip, groin and knee screening.

The standard fees for attending this conference are £175; BASEM full members £155; Full time SEMS PG Student £105. The discounted places for full-time SEMS postgraduate students and full BASEM members are limited in number. Students – please note to receive a discount your student ID will need to be shown on the day. BASEM members – please note to receive your BASEM full member discount will need to show your BASEM membership number on the day. Once these 35 discounted places have been booked, all subsequent bookings will be at the standard rate of £175.
Included in your delegate fee is attendance at all sessions, all conference documentation, FSEM accreditation, attendance certificate, refreshments and food, a guided tour of Emirates Stadium (subject to availability), a post event flash drive (with all PowerPoint presentations uploaded) and the attendee weblink to the video of all talks and question sessions.
