This one-day conference, hosted by the School of Health Sciences at UCLan, aims to offer delegates a contemporary and innovative insight into the world of elite performance. The speakers come from a wide background of disciplines, practice, and experiences within a variety of sporting environments. They link both theory and research to the ‘real world’ day to day tasks of attempting to make sensible, informed, reasoned, timely, and effective decisions on the management and welfare of athletes.
