Nicky is a world-renowned Sport Endocrine Specialist; She currently has roles as an honorary clinical lecturer in Medicine at University College London and a Research Fellow in the Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences at Durham University. Nicky has gained extensive clinical and research experience in both Endocrinology and Sport and Dance Medicine involving elite athletes, professional ballet dancers and young aspiring athletes
She has a particular interest in menstrual cycle hormone monitoring, and has conducted research into the energy availability status of professional female football players as well as writing the Health4Performance BASEM educational resource on relative energy deficiency in sport
